Great Eastern is doing things right. The prices show it. I hope they continue.

Why chase Great Eastern Cutlery knives on EBAY or pay crazy inflated prices.  The GEC dealers have many nice NOS GEC knives for sale.  Two things men hate,"NO" and "You Can't" !  Don't be a sucker when you buy a knife.  GEC is making great knives in May 2019 and beyond.  I have 3 GEC pre-orders , right now.  I am excited too.  GEC# is making a #93 knife , no photos or drawings have been released yet.  "Ram's Foot" blade , I never seen one.  Those should be released in June.

  • Tim

The #93 Ram's Foot should be a big hit. Something totally new for GEC.

Charlie Campagna's #93 Lamb's foot is also very interesting. It will be different from the Ram's Foot as being like the European blade shape.

  • Jeff Chung

I'm excited for the 93 too.

I sent in an email to Old Town Cutlery.  I want that GEC#93 royal blue camel bone with boot shield.  Sounds like a winner to me. I have 3 toothpicks on pre-order too. This is going to be a great year for GEC collecting for me.

  • Jan Carter

I like that GEC is going back to some mystery in the releases.  I cant wait to see this

Looks like two different knives. Blades look different. The tapered one looks the best to me.

They are different. The Real Lambs Foot is an SFO for Charlie Campagna. You can see it on the schedual down below ...Waynorth Cutlery...  Charlie just had a stroke and is recovering but keep a good thought for his full recovery.

I like both blades and 3 7/8" closed is so perfect for EDC.  The Ram's blade looks so much easier for one arm me to open.  The European style Lamb's foot is going to be a Charlie Campagna  Waynorth Cutlery knife.  I'll stick with the Ram's blade knife.  The price will be right with a single blade. Cocobolo wood is always a winner.  I have a feeling GEC will make some #93 Northwoods too.

Looks like an #86 knife will be released sometime after the #93 Ram's foot knives.

  • Jan Carter

as much as I like the 86, I am not fond of the blade shape on the 93, just a personal opinion

I like the Ram's foot blade on the GEC#93.  The #93 Lamb's foot blade is not for me.  I need a little more blade for easier one hand grabbing.

Three GEC dealers received the first batches of the Tidioute #93 natural canvas micarta knives.  Each dealer sold out in about 30 minutes or less.  Looks like the Ram's Foot #93 is going to be a hot seller.

I just found this picture on Face-Book .  The GEC#93 real lambs foot and the Rams foot knives have  the same exact dark chestnut color with different jigging.  I got two GEC Northfield #93 Real Rams Foot knives on the way.  Check out the  two different placements of the Ram shields !  Which one do you like best ?

Anybody in Titusville at the Rendezvous? What is this year’s Rendezvous knife?
  • Jan Carter

Great question Dan, let me reach out to Ken M and see if he is there

  • J. Dan Skean Jr.

Hi Jan - Just found out that the main knife is a 12 toothpick with abalone handles. Thanks for looking into it!

Not my knives !  All these knives were bought on 8/9/2019 at the 2019 Rendezvous.  The 2019 Rendezvous GEC#93 Lambs foot smooth white bone is a hit !

Why would GEC make another #97 Allegheny yellow bone knife ?  Northfield #97 Allegheny yellow bone knives all over the GEC# dealer web-sights.  I begged GEC to make an Oily Creek Bone #97 Allegheny knife and an Oily Creek bone #86 with a guitar shield.  4/12/2019 "Rock Around the Clock" was 65 years old.  This coffee house acrylic #97 Allegheny knife makes me want to try for the #29 stockyard whittler coffee house acrylic knife.  I have the #29 snakewood knife on pre-order.

  • Billy Oneale

I love that white bone. No wonder it was a hit

The 2019 Rendezvous knife is a GEC#12 Abalone Acrylic toothpick knife.   1 of 50 --- 20 pieces the first day.  30 pieces between Friday & Saturday.  French Kate Buttons were given out to everybody.

Looks like GEC got off the first batch of #92 antique goldenrod camel bone Eureka jack knives before the yearly factory shut down.   More should be popping up this week.
