Here's my latest creation. It's a small drop point hunter with high carbon damascus blade and whale tooth handle
  • BILL AKERS

  • Stuart Smith

Awesome. You finally made a knife.

  • KnifeMaker

    Stefan Diedericks

    Thanks Bill.
Stuart, as you are well aware, I make 5000+ knives a day.......can you beat that?
  • BILL AKERS

BELEIVE IT OR NOT IN 16 HRS I CAN MAKE 6 KNIVES FROM START TO FINNISH READY TO SELL! LOL

  • KnifeMaker

    Stefan Diedericks

Bill, I'm at a knife factory. We have the capacity to make 12000 knives in a 8 hour shift, but not quite the quality of the 6 that you make. Making 6 handmade knives in 16 hours takes some doing in my books.
  • Stuart Smith

    Yeah, yeah. Quit bragging.
  • BILL AKERS

9 years being a one man show, hehehe, i can get-r-done
  • Stuart Smith

Maybe three knives a day for me if the blades are prepared and polished etc.
  • BILL AKERS

if i were to use blanks i could do 8- 10 in 9 hrs a day fileworked and all,no problem

  • KnifeMaker

    Stefan Diedericks

OK. stop this bragging now...face the fact that none of you are going to get to 5000+ knives, from raw material to finished product, in one day, or even one year. So stop the whining and show us some of your creations, and I hight show you what we make........

    Hey all,

Well..................I went and did it.  I started messing around with folders (as if I needed another distraction).  This is #2 and it only has about five problems I need to work out!

If there is a folder maker out there that wouldn't mind me emailing them for a few tips please contact me.  I really enjoy making these slippies.
