I fixated on this knife for months. One of the earlier purchases in my collection, there's a lot to like about this knife. I think it was a purchase I made in celebration of one of my first anniversaries of quitting smoking, as I recall. But it's easy to fail when opening -- it's by no means smooth. And that edge has never been what I'd hoped for, despite being S30V, and its ability to take a toothy edge. Maybe that makes it even more symbolic of quitting smoking -- a lot of things to be disappointed about, but still worthwhile. Okay, that was a huge reach, but I'm definitely proud quitting smoking. And I still feel something for this knife -- protective, maybe? I just feel like it deserved better in terms of execution.
