I'm a multi-tasking father of 4, husband of one, real estate auctioneer and one who enjoys our hobby & nice knife folks.
Interests
Knife shows; KNIFE AUCTIONS; observing social changes brought on by technology and specifically its impact on our daily lives....and of course, all things Mac.
Thanks, and you can call me Sean or Zorub.. When you say my name atleast, if eventually... You know what I think we should get a teamspeak or a Ventrilo to speak over.
Can we talk to eachother through microphone? If so is it only 1on1 chat? Or can it be multiple people. I don't know if you know how Ventrilo and Teamspeak work, but there good, Ventrilo is cheap and teamspeak is free. Though it doesn't have as many features as Ventrilo.
Lots and Lots! I am always busy and yourself? I just got promoted at my job and now I have a lot more responsibility. Hopefully next week after I get settled I can back into the discussions more. This past week I haven't been able to talk much. How was your daughters tack meet? Anything new?
Nice Background! Thought I'd let you know...my cashier check came it (Thank you much) and I got an amazing knife with it. There are pictures on my page of it. I will be writing more about tomorrow.
scott i like the big clasp knives and larger frame knives found a new fondness for great eastern knives i have one of there scouts and about to purchase another, i like stag alot also , but like i said i have a wide range ,i like assisted open knives i also have imports .
did anyone ever respond to your question regarding tactical knives and why we like them?
i think for the most part, it's a generation gap (maybe). it's kind of like comparing old school mustangs to new mustangs, or led zeppelin to something like... paramore.
i just think tactical knives are cool--plain and simple. though i appreciate the vintage knives, i just don't see myself using them. i guess i like to use most of the things i buy.
i hope this helped... hopefully it helps a little.
My thanks to your wife for reading "Tiger Dream". It's tough to make characters of the opposite sex believable, but observation is the key; I've been lucky to know really exceptional female persons. When I get my book published I'll let you guys know.
Thanks, Scott... This is going to be more fun than a tornado. I can tell already. You can thank, er, BLAME Bob Picklesimer for my being here. He and his wife (Sweet Cheeks) are dear friends with my wife and me. So if I get in trouble, blame Bob...
Hey Scott, thanks for the kind words about my woodcarving. That gives me more motivation to keep carving. The only thing stopping me now is the lack of wood to carve with. As soon as I get some more supplies I plan on rolling them out. Please help me promote my vids.....I have no youtube subscribers yet...lol. `Later man'
Hi Scott,
Thanks for the welcome. I'm looking forward to being in the knife community. Didn't go to the show in Marietta because my grandson was out of state. I'll have to go slow on collecting knives; making sure that my grandson enjoys the hobby, without Pop taking over! Hopefully, we'll learn together.
Thanks for offering help. I'm sure I'll take you up on it.

No NO, the show it self... id would never rush you... Hmmmm... Atlanta, that would be quite a drive from maine... if you were here i bet you would make it there in record time...lol and add to your speeding ticket collection...lol (ya i saw the video...lol)
Thanks for the comments Scott, this seems like a cool spot for us "steel lovers". I've watched several of my friends lose their bikes over the years, due to "family" concerns. I'm just too stubborn to flex,....maybe why I'm still single after all these years!...lol.
Actually the guy in the picture is Bear Grylls, and I think he had just eaten some sort of animal he caught. I learned some interesting stuff from his show, and I really admire the guy.
