The build time on that second Supersquirt was also reduced 'cause Abby got me that "mini mill" back around Valentine's Day.

‘tis far from finished .. got carried away contouring edges again. Now I’ll need to sink the 2 fnt bolster holes deeper & turn the screw heads down.  Currently .. UGLY .. but functions great.

J.J.I spent a little time going through your pics. Quiet interesting. Your peach pit carvings are excellent. Your knives are quiet nice. I collected case toothpicks in small flavor, but have always wanted the Seahorse Whittler. There is something very special about the smaller intricate folders. Great collection. Thanks for the show.

JJ, I'm looking for something similar to a CASE 61154 (tiny trapper .. 2 3/8 closed, single blade) .. only scaled in wood. I'm not sure Case ever made one i.e. a 71154, 11154, or P1154. 

 I bought the Tiny Trapper in Carribean Blue for Ab when we were still dating. She just asked tonight if I could find one scaled in wood .. 'n I'm having ZERO luck. 

It doesn't have to be CASE .. anything of decent quality would do. 

Anything come to mind ????

JJ .. thanks for looking !!! I posed the same quest to Jan .. she came back w/ a Peanut by Bear & Son's that's going to do the trick. Scaled in rosewood 'n about the right size  .. 2 3/4". 
Yeah .. she does pick some difficult ones. I'm was pulling a total blank. 'n while I've a few Frost .. I agree .. while I knew what I was getting .. I  would never buy one for someone else.

I like what you did w/ the Opinel !!!   I imagine you've got to sharpen it often for whittling .. I do after abusing mine .. yard/garage/'n such ...BUT... they're inexpensive workhorses.

Your current pg is looking pretty good .. better than most I've seen since the change.

... I rather like the "basket weave" background .. tis unique .. 'n lends itself well to the "tile" function.

Re: PM .. the open frame lends itself well to a good visual inspection. Not really necessary to dis-assemble to evaluate function. There's a coil spring around the pivot bolt .. one end anchored in blade .. other end anchored in frame. Sear pin for locking .. in/out. Not much more to it than that. Click .. click .. click .... they can be addictive .. click .. click .. click.
