Thanks Charles! I live near Lake Huron and we have some good fishing and hunting in this area. We also have the Au Sable river and the Rifle river which are both good for fishing and canoeing. What tacticals do you have?

  • Jim Davidson

This is deer heaven around here as long as you know someone willing to let you hunt on their land. I haven't hunted in years due to health issues and now mainly fish for bass, pan fish and walleyes. A lot of people fish for salmon and trout on Lake Huron in the spring and fall. It's a great place to live with all the woods and lakes around.

Thanks Charles.  This is indeed a very friendly place.  Once I figure out my way around I think I am going to really like it here.  Brad

If I have a knife in my collection that hasn't Cut me,it just means I haven't handled it enough.

This is straight out of a sample book for scrimshaw. A few books out there have a few templates in them and this is pretty close. The lack of detail indicates an artist getting established. The M W may appear in the KNIVES books Kertzman outs out each fall under the scrimshaw artist names in the back. They normally list their mark. I will look at home this evening. Mine is capital H utc and another Capital H with an arching swipe through both H's and the top of the t. I always mark the year and if it is a limited edition the number and quantity, such as #01/100. I'll get back with you tomorrow...HutcH
