I will check everything out as you suggest and hopefully may be able to contribute .  Although I probably will learn more that I can contribute as there appears to be a general lack of knowledge or even knife clubs in Australia - may be something to do with our import laws.  All the best Larry

    Thanks for the welcome. The site inspired me to go through my stuff. Among them was the handle of an original Marine issue Kbar. Like an idiot I threw the knife into a tree and the blade just snapped off. (Blade long lost.) Any idea if the intact handle is worth keeping?
