Favorite Kind of Knives
Sharp ones! While I am always on the look out for the ideal knife, I specialize in fixed blades - Bowies, Daggers, and Combat knives primarily, but I've been known to pick up a folder or two when they capture my imagination. In the broadest sense, I am a collector of edged pieces - Swords, Knives, Bayonets, Ethnographic / Aboriginal, and Historical.

About Me
I am passionate about all edged pieces...Knives, Bayonets, and Swords. Always looking for the ideal knife, I collect knives when I cannot afford a Bayonet. I collect Bayonets when I cannot afford a Sword. When I can afford a Sword, I look to see how many knives I can buy for the same money. And so it goes.

Hey there, Lars! Welcome to iKnife! Come on in, kick back and check things out. There's some handy tips on our front page to help you find your way around, and some fantastic people in the Chat room if you have any questions or want to shoot the breeze. Site rules are also on the main page, and if you get creative, you can customise your My Page to suit your own style! Hope you enjoy your stay with us! Great to have you on board!

    Hi, Lars!

The software that iKC uses allows us to customize our own page pretty much anyway we want it to look. I use to spend more time customizing and tweaking every little detail on "My Page," but became discouraged at doing so because of things that were beyond my control that would disrupt what I had done. That's a story for another day, though.

Go to your page (MY Page) and look on the left hand column under your name and where you're from and you will see a prompt that says, "Customize My Page." Click on that and you will enter the "Design Studio." That's where the magic happens! Once in there you will find different themes as well as options that permit you to fix your page just about any way that suits you.

It's been a while since I've changed anything and my brain doesn't really work the way it used to. So I can't explain much more than I already have as far as the media player goes. What I will do is encourage you to jump in there and play around. Don't worry, you can't break anything, and regardless of what you do you can always just cancel it and everything goes back to the way it was before.

So, have it it my friend. I hope you get the result you're looking for.

    Cheers!

No problem! I'm glad I was able to help. The cool thing about the Themes is that if you do spend some time designing a custom theme, and then decide you wish to change it at some time in the future, it will always be saved. So if you do change it and wish to go back and use it again at a later date it will still be there.

I hope that made sense? But aside from the Themes you can tweak the colors and just about everything else, too! Just get in there and pay around. That's what I use to do. In other words...have fun!

    Cheers!
