the balisongs open. the top one is the viente nueve traydor, and the bottom is the regular viente nueve. translated the name means "29" referring to the length of the whole knife. traydor means traitor referring to the double edge balisong, which has a tendency to cut the owner too.

@craig that it does, but the balisong is so heavy and long that it feels uncomfortable. but if you don't clip it, it might rip through the pocket itself. the suggested carry is in the back pocket rather than the front with the balisong clipped to keep it away from the middle of your rear.
