I hope not J.J.  The last knife that sent me to a hand surgeon was a Kershaw Leek, little stabby point!  And don't try to wrap up your child in duct tape - lesson learned.

Yes Sue, Benchmade's logo is a butterfly because when they first started up they mainly specialized in butterfly knives, and still are known for making some of the best butterfly knives in the world.
