oh but they never cut the damascus john  it is too pretty indeed !

they only did the M in the 121 plane vg-10 that has also a thumbhole....  maybe they think it will weaken the blade too much in the middle and make it more breakable with both cuts

anyway.....  i have my M  !

I like that just the way it is Kees , that blade is just too pretty to be cut ! The Cocobolo is nice I really like it when it goes dark .

yes jan !! true   but i must say the micarta one is also a pleasure to feel

weird thing about the M  huh ?.......especially cos they are famous for theyr laser cutting

It is a shame they are no longer using a cut out for the M.  I have to say though, this is one heck of a handle.  I love wood anyway but formed in this manner just makes you want to grab a hold of it and see how it feels

this is my 121... a few years old now

as you see the M is cut out of the steel...a pity they dont do that anymore since last year

this is my second tactility !                                                                                                                                           i got it because i already fell in love with the first one ( a 121 ) that proved its self as a perfect edc...                      well made ...great finish...wonderful materials... fits my hand and pocket like a glove and is a feast to use and look at !... in other words...mcusta                                                                                                                                  this second one is in cocobolo ( not micarta as the 121 )  and damascus

for cosmetic reasons and while it will be more for display or next to my plate than in my pocket i removed the ( very good ) clip            that makes  the grip even more comfortable                                                                     the Damascus blade has a thumbstud and not the hole they disigned for the 121       that makes sense.....
