Thanks for your comment, Jim. I think I paid only $4.95 for it 20 years ago or so, and did absolutely no restorative work on it. If I had the money, I would happily search for one of every Sheffield manufacturer's rigger every made. I would also love to have one of every British revolver made since 1850 or so, especially a Webley .455. What a beast! Just wish I had the spare change.

This knife appears to be in EXCELLENT condition relative to a lot of these Brit military issue knives. It seems like 100's of cutlery companies in Sheffield and elsewhere had govt. contracts to make these knives from WWI right through WWII. I think you coulsd spend the rest of your days just trying to find one each of these made by every maker.
