Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Like many Spyderco collectors, I've become enamored with the Para Military 2. Well, recently, I realized that my collection of First Gen Para's was missing an "all black" edition. Fortunately, I ran across one and nabbed it for a good price. It was VERY LIGHTLY used and is in great shape. Ah...SWEET SATISFACTION...that comes with making a great step forward on a specific aspect of my collection. In any event...

In handling this knife, I noticed that not only is this a Fist Gen Para...it's one of the earliest ones. How can I tell? Well...the jimping on the spine of the blade is the easiest indicator...as is the lack of jimping on the underside of the blade in the front finger choil. What a nice surprise!

You know what else? I was reminded of why I really liked the First Gen Para; if you put your index finger in the choil, the knife becomes amazingly comfortable...and the blade is superbly controllable.
