Scott,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I was referred here by my good friend Tom Cai, and I like it already. The blog function gives me a good platform for pontificating about knives, and it seems like you've collected a fine group of enthusiasts here. I look forward to learning more from you all.

No good putting it on member pages. I wan going to put it on mine, just for fun, but others would have to input their own locations. Figured it would be better on the home page for the entire group. 3%, you never know, we're replacing a lot of "Red Heads".

Scott,
I came across an application that might be good for the home page..."Friends Map". It's under Misc. Thought it would be good, but requires members input their own location, It's not automatic locating, but it looked good.

Two answers: Peach "Pit" Monkey. Yep I carve them, along with baskets and other stuff out of Peach Pits.
And "Emote". It is supposed to be like the smilies that you can attach to e-mails. I couldnt get it to load right so I removed the app. May try again later...

Hey Scott,

Yes, we are off to a great start. I'm actually quite surprised by how many nice photos have been posted. It's great to see some faces to go with the names.
