Hi Katie ! I was told that you are a case historian by some of the members on here I recently bought a collection of old case knives and in the roll was 1970 6254 bone trapper in what I was told is a second cut bone I have some pictures on here if you would be so kind to take a look at them I would greatly appreciate it any info would help me decide what I would like to do with it. Thank you very much for response and the job you do for us case collectors !!
Katie, thanks for the thoughts & comments on the "Case Triple Crown Set " that I was fortunate enough to acquire. While I have several of the Case sets, I believe this is the rarest & definitely hardest to find.
Thanks Katie for the additional thoughts and effort on the Boatman knife. I talked to Tony Foster yesterday and his thoughts on the knife is the same as yours. Thank you for your efforts and input and thank you for being a part of iKnife.
Hi Katie...Thanks for the comment on my Boatman knife and the info. Please double check your info as I think you will find it to be 1974 which is a 6 dot stamp. The knife I acquired is a 7 dot which is a 1973 stamp and it is not shown in the 1973 line up. I can find it in 1940-64 era, 65-69 era, then in the years of 70, 74, 75, 76, 77 & 79. As you will note 71, 72, & 73 is not shown and I think the 79 year was the last time any were made.
We chatted the other day, talked a little about Spyderco Endura with the Emerson,s Wave feature. Just wanted to let you know I seen one for sale today on Blade Forums, Under the section for sale production knives by Individuals, the members name forum name is neffarious, check it out, Tommy

Welcome to iKC and thank you for joining us. We can certainly use your skills and we are all history nuts about knives. Please let me know if there is anything we can help with as you become more familiar with our format
I'm not into fixed blade knives or folders as I am into Italian Stilettos and other automatics, but I like all sharp objects. What publications do you subscribe to and what other knife organizations do you participate? You just joined an awesome forum. The members here are very knowledgeable and eager to share their experience. Take some time to review the various topics and when you have a chance please post a photo or photos of your favorite knife. Your new friend on the iKC Forum, John
