Favorite Kind of Knives: Trapper and skinners

About Me: I am a retired delinquency counselor (Anchorage and Nome AK.), Child abuse investigator supervisor (Ocala FL) senior mental health counselor -forensic (Gainesville FL). Been raising hogs for 30 years, process the meat at home. Breed Bull Terriers. Swim with a masters club, USMS. Grow my own peppers, make hot sauce. Hunt alligators here in Florida during the permit season. Mount the heads, skin and cure the hides, butcher the meat all at home just like the hogs. I favor saltwater fishing when time allows. Do all my own home improvements and auto mechanics. Have a small farm with a variety of domestic animals in addition to the hogs.

Interests: Exercise daily, often doing what needs to be done on the farm or while life guarding part time at a private pool & tennis club.

Other Hobbies: Collect trapper knives. Collect old Foster Bros Meat Cleavers and refurbish them. Collect Cuckoo clocks and repair them and do a bit of hand carving the new crowns. Also repair a few bracket clocks.
