Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Hi,  I bought this lot in a lot of fairly common knives from a friend of a friend.  It's a very well made knife and is 10-3/4 inches long.  I've tried to find some info online with no luck at all.  So, I was hoping that somebody here might know who made it and when.  Thanks  in advance for any help, Mike.

Is that the only marking on the blade?

That's the only marking I can find anywhere on the knife.

I can't find anything at all on this, Mike. Sorry. Best I can guess, is that it is not supposed to get put away wet, which may be an indicator of inferior steel. Being damascus with no maker's mark, I am guessing it came out of the far east.

Thanks for looking.  I was kind of leaning toward China as well.  Regards, Mike

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
