Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Okay just 4 questions this time but they all have follow-up so it is really 8 questions.  I'm sure we all remember those type of quizzes in school!

1)      Do you watch any fishing shows?

If yes, which ones and which is your favorite? If No, why not?

2)      Do you subscribe to or read any fishing magazines on a regular basis?

If yes, which is your favorite, If No why not?

3)      Do you collect actively collect vintage tackle or do you just accumulate tackle naturally?

Either way, what are some of your favorite pieces of tackle? (Feel free to share pictures!)

4)      Do you still have the first rod and reel (fishing pole) that you bought, made for yourself, or was given to you?

If so, what type of rod and reel (or pole) is it and do you still use it.  If not do you remember what it was?  (Again, Feel free to share pictures!)

I watch several.  My favorite is South Bend's Lunkerville but I think I learn more from Bill Dance.

No really.  If they are laying around at the barber shop or Dentist office I pick them up.   I probably should.  I might learn something!

Yes I do.  I've posted pictures in the  discussion on Vintage Tackle and Lures and   will post more.

Nope.  Most of my dad's stuff disappeared from moving around all the time (I'm an Air Force Brat).  I don't even have a vague Idea what he had but I know it was the stuff that required actual skill if you wanted to cast without getting your line all snarled.  Kids these days have it easy compared the "new and improved" fishing equipment from the 1950s and early 1960s!
