I have a game camera on the back of the property just to take pics of unwanted. Could be coyote or could be feral hogs or even a pack of wild dogs. Just never know and if I get something I try to plan a surprise future meeting!

My game cameras are not on my property.  They are on a friend's property that lets me hunt there.  So they are mainly for scouting the deer.  So the pictures of other wildlife that I get are kind of icing on the cake.  Since I got pictures of turkey there last year, I may try turkey hunting this spring.  Once I got pictures of a poacher on my friends property.  The sheriff did go talk to the fellow and my friend hasn't been bothered by him since.

I live so far back in the woods its hard to find me, but every so often something does! Sometimes I am ready sometimes not. Of course the dogs we run, Great Pyrenees are always ready and sometimes get me up with all the noise! Sounds like you did a nice thing for your neighbor, you'd be a good one!

I grew up on a farm in Bollinger County about 30 miles west of Cape Girardeau.  I tell people that we lived so far back in the woods that they even had to pipe sunshine in to us.  We lived 20 miles from nowhere.  We had to go 20 miles, then we could go somewhere.

All kidding aside, there were some Hanners that had a farm just a few miles from us.  They also sold farm equipment.  Are they possibly any relation to you?

I still own about 28 acres of the family farm.  My piece of ground is just off Hwy 72, a couple of mile east of Hwy 51.

well heck yes, it possible I have relatives there but my last name is Hanner with no s There are some families with that s on the name and I would think that is them or their relation. But yes, Bollinger County is not far at all as I am in the south end of Iron County near a town called Annapolis. Biggest highway into town would be 21.Its a small world Charles, well if you ever get over to that property come on by and shake an old man's hand!

If I get a chance, I'll do just that!
