The community of knife collectors want to be able to say "Welcome". So, please let us know you have joined up with us here at iKnifeCollector- the next generation knife collector community
J.J., Thats why I haven't changed it, because of the stories behind that old knife. I have 3 or 4 more old Imperials my grandpa passed down to me and was just thinking about having one fixed up so I could carry as a user. That way I would know I was carrying and using one of his knives. But its a hard decision to make. LOL I'm pretty sure I will leave that one like it is.
Welcome to iKC evan, there are some excellent custom knife makers here. I'm going to have to break down and get me one soon, but I will prolly try to get one from each maker. LOL
Hello!
Just joined and I'm mingling around trying to soak up the atmosphere.
I am from Croatia, and I'm new when it comes to collecting knifes. Compared to most of the guys here, I'm a "newborn" collector (I only have like 6 knifes, but I use all of them almost on a daily basis, and I just love to take care of them).
I have discovered my passion for knifes something like two years ago and this had a profound impact on my life. I started to appreciate the craftsmanship behind a good blade and I learned much since. It is a privilege for me to be a part of this great community.
The site interface looks really intuitive and user friendly and I like it very much so far!

Hi Scott -- I just joined, something I almost never do, but this site looks like it has a lot to offer with acess to all the members and all their knowledge so I just could not help myself. I have been collecting knives since my mother told me I was not old enough to have one, must have been about 1957. I am eager to see how everything works here and what can be learned, and having somewhere to locate hard to find knives would be wonderful.
Hi, I just joined up and wanted to introduce myself. I collect vintage auto's, especially French, but have a few Americans, newer Germans and Italians. I just came back from my 2nd Atlanta Blade show and if you haven't made the trip let me tell you it was absolutely incredible and I strongly recommend it. Not just for the 1000's of knives but the people there are fantastic, and there's nothing like a few hundred collectors drinking and trading in the pit after the show.
My collection has focused quite a bit and I hope to sell or trade off my Germans (Hubies for the most part) and some Italians; to go with old French and Americans, although I'm hoping to develop an Italian Fulcrum release collection. This being my 3rd year in, I don't have a huge collection, but I sure have made some great friends along the way.
Later,
