Got Winchesters? Old or new?
I'm kinda surprised no one talks much about Winchester knives. I remember a time when old Winchesters knives were one of the revered knife brands.

Gee Robert, that's a beauty AND a beast!
Blue Grass Cutlery is 30 miles from me, I knew the owner, Dave Scott, he just died at 69. I don't know what the kids will do with the Cutlery. I think he just assembled there in these later years.
Darn, sorry to hear that. This is a vintage knife, that was made years ago, maybe the 1970's, I'm not sure. It's found a home here with me. Yeah, Craig, it's like a butcher knife when open, my friend.
Real nice vintage Winchester, Ken.
Nice find, John.
Good looking knife there, John.
Rome, very nice Winchesters
Well Craig , we have a new member Duke, who collects Winchester Knives- Perhaps he would like this group and he is looking for Winchesters! ((NIB)
hi: yes the Winchester knives i collect were made by Blue Grass Cutlery in Ohio. They started making winchester knives in 1987 and packaged them in black boxes. Actually Blue Grass is still making some Winchester knives. if you go their web site you can see some of them for sale. They are expensive ($200+). the ones made in the late 80's and early 90's, i think are a bargain at $40-$80 depending on pattern.
if there is anyone out there that knows more about the knives Blue Grass made for Winchester from 187 to 1995 or so i'd appreciate hearing form them.
best regards,
Duke Biscotti

I have a couple of good ones but I think they're made by Blue Grass Cutlery not Queen. They may have had alot of different makers at one time or another. The ones I have were made in the 1980's, I think.
