Just what it says - post pictures of pistols - past or present.

One of my favorites, and the most impractical pistol in my arsenal, is my S&W Magnum .500 Performance Center. It is the only thing I currently reload for (when I can find large rifle primers...), and it is a HOOT to SHOOT!

The cartridges are the size of double-a batteries! I typically use 380 grain projectiles for my handloads. Yea, it has some pop.

Glock 23 - this is my training piece. It is a gen 2 that I have owned since that is what was new. A great piece.

My CCW piece - a Kimber Ultra RCP II from the Kimber Custom Shop. What a sweet little piece!!

I just picked up an XD/m 5.25 9mm competition pistol - taking it to the range tomorrow - I'll add pictures here when I get some taken.

Please feel free to add some of your pictures, I know JK has a few beauties!!

Those are a couple sweet looking pistols Andy. I'd be interested to know what buffer tube you used. By the way, The Vortex VMX-3T magnifier with the built in push button flip mount works great behind a red dot or hologram...at around $200 on Ebay you can't beat it...Vortex has a better guarantee than Luepold. They will fix or replace no matter what..as long as you didn't break it on purpose..no receipt or warranty card needed..ever.

Thanks Doug! I used a Palmetto State Pistol Buffer Tube - some baby powder and some muscle and the SB15 was firmly in place -

I appreciate the info on the Vortex - I will check it out - I was looking at the EOTECH stuff at Bass Pro, and it was noticeably clearer to my eye that the other units they had in stock (not the Vortex btw) , but at $500+ they are surely very proud of those!!

I suppose I better post a Pistol picture too!

Andy,

Vortex supplies a spacer so you have the option of 1/3 co-witness or absolute co-witness.  The mount is also reversible...allows you to have the flip button on the right or left. I have one of their scopes also..not quite the light transmission of a Leupold, but darn close. With Vortex's warranty, you don't have to worry about ordering it on line..I'm thinking about replacing my magnifier and red dot with their new  Strike Eagle...online price is $329.

If you happen to leave your turret caps at the range, they'll even send you new ones...free of charge
