If you are a paracord enthusiast, you have to check out Stormdrane.
He has applied more paracord in more ways to more things than just about anyone could ever imagine. His site is a wealth of information. I highly suggest looking thru not only the current info but all the archived info as well.
His site is incredibly informative. It has video tutorials, list sources for more instruction, lists sources for materials and has links to many related and non-related sites.

OK well I went ahead and ordered supplies. I should have them in a few days. I went with a buckle, black and 5/8ths. Here is a pic; And then the Paracord, I went with
I did go with Tweed Silver and a single no other color. Should be here in a few days and I will update on the process!
While you're waiting, Steve, check out this list of PDF's... http://www.gobookee.net/search.php?q=paracord
Best way to get them is to copy/paste the url ,at the bottom of the description, to your browser.
OK well here it is! The color is a bit lighter but I still like it and the buckles came in a 10 lot but I don't know maybe I will get good at this?
Anyway here is what I got....Oh and by the way the buckle doubles as a whistle! I don't think its really loud or anything or maybe I don't have the hang of it, but anyway its a built in feature.
My young bloke is in the process of learning these with whistle buckles and small compass bexels as well. Later on he wants to expand to the small survival kits built in like scalpel blade, fish hook etc as well.
Helped make a new sling for my rifle as well recently
How about a quick lanyard for that knife? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fyz8zTGEs84
Was window shopping on Google, yesterday, and found this and thought it was an easy way to carry around a length of paracord and some duct tape.
Super simple idea, from instructables. http://m.instructables.com/id/Duct-Tape-and-Paracord-Holder/
If they had a way to carry WD-40, along with this, a redneck could fix most anything.
This is a fantastic idea!!
I've no idea what anyone / everyone else uses as their source for paracord.
.
This is the best deal I've found @ under 4 cents / ft.
Sold in 30m / 100' lengths* .. I've previously ordered from them on 4 occasions .. pleased every time !!!
.
* actual conversion .. 30m = 98.435' .. easily stretches to > 100'.
JJ, can I ask? Have you made one with the iKC magnifier? Would it work and would it be good to have with you also?
