There is never a point where I add to this conversation without a heavy heart.  Today is no different.  I hear many people saying we have lost a legend and I feel that is true but the man and the knowledge that has passed is a far greater loss.  A.G.Russell was so many things to the knife community if I listed them all we would be here for hours.  To me he was a great man, a knifemaker and a friend I could call with a question when I had one.  We say goodbye and prayer for Goldie and family, friends and employees.  Go with God my friend

Very sad news indeed.

Such sad news to hear of A.G. Russell passing. Another great man in the knife world. Although I did not know him personally, I feel as though I knew him by his great heart and love of knives. I know he will be missed by many. I am praying for the family and friends that now have a void in their lives.

Very sad indeed. Prayers for the rest of the family. May God give them peace.

A.G. Russell has certainly cast a very long shadow in the knife world for many years. With his passing, our knife community has lost a true cutlery Icon and the world has lost an honest trader and a real gentleman. He will be missed by many. My condolences to Goldie and the extended family. May he rest in eternal peace.

Amen...

I am going to be very happy to see the back side of 2018.  Mr. Wayne Goddard has passed to be with the rest of the greats we have lost this year. Knife-maker, Blade-smith, Spyderco collaborator and author (50.00 knife shop, the wonder of knife making).May the family and friends know peace as Wayne suffers no more.  Rest in Peace and say hello to everyone for us

Very sad news indeed. Prayers for the family.

Amen!

I just sent out the Easter note and realized just how distracted I have been and have not explained myself.  I have not lost interest and I am still involved in the knife community, nothing has changed.  6 weeks ago we found out that my best buddy up here on the mountain has an incurable and aggressive cancer.  Aggressive enough that as I write this I am waiting on a call I just dont want.  I have spent every moment I can helping her and her husband just so I can spend a few more moments with her.  Please know I am here, I sign on everyday and I am following all you are doing here.  I will be back at it hard and full time as quickly as I can be, Thank you all for understanding and Thank you all for being a part of iKC.

I understand life sometimes throws things at us. Prayers for your friends.

Thank you Billy and to those that have reached out to me personally
