Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I dreamt of Elk Stag and Stainless, I dreamt of adventures to be made with this new friend. A beautiful sunrise on a placid lake, a chilled morning by a swift running stream, and many a morning spent in the woods, searching for every variety of game to be had. I dreamt of no rust, but lots of trust, with a lock so tight, I can cut with all my might. Yes, this new friend will be a welcome companion in my home, and in my pocket. I will see you soon #72, 440-c, AMERICAN ELK STAG.

Sincerely,

Your trusted hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, working, and relaxing friend,

Johnny T

I feel left out, I feel like I'm in another country because I don't understand what your talking about.

Please explain to the slow.

Thanks

Montana Fur Trading Company.  Johnny, you would love this place.  Nice big porch for gathering to talk .about everything in the world.  Real friendly folks and an actual fur trading comany.  I was. blessed last year to spend a few weeks in Daves home territory in Montana.  I now know what it is like to fall in love with a territory and it's people.  I get the same feeling in PA!

I missed out on that opportunity.

I was able to visit Montana and all it's glory in '08, it was an amazing experience that I wouldn't  trade for anything but, a GEC #72 Elk Stag, 440-c. Anyhow, we stayed at a place on flathead lake it was a friends place, so it was amazing. I would go swimming with my brother and the water was freezing, but it was just a blast. Theres something so natural feeling about that whole place, I loved it.

When I get rich, I'll pay to send everyone out to Montana, you can bring your families too, remember I'm rich. We'll have the best camping trip this country has ever seen. Nothing but, fishing, hiking, and enjoying ourselves. We'll even check out the lion. Yep, sounds like fun.

I am willing to bet we could get the hermit to meet us in Montana

another nice place to camp and live out the dream

You bet!!  I'll meet you at that little campsite in the woods just above the Hungry Horse dam.  There's a trout stream there, lots of Elk, (for knife handles), and peace and solitude.

We can make day trips to little ol' Martin City, take in Glacier Park, drive the Going to the Sun highway, and Johnny can take us over to Flathead Lake, ( hopefully it will be in the Spring when the cherry trees are all in blossom).  If we have the time I'll take you east to the Sweetgrass Hills, where I used to work as a Livestock Brand Inspector, and we can enjoy some high plains prarie country and maybe find a little gold up in the Hills near the Bear's Den Road.  I don't think we'll be bored.

Johnny's right though.  A swim up in that country is always "refreshing", even in mid-summer.

But then, as long as Johnny is rich, we'll probably just meet at his summer home in Big Fork.  I know we can count on Johnny to show us a good time, but we may have to search the trout streams to find him.  I'm ready to go!!

now thats the place to have a pole in one hand and gec knife #72 with elk handles in the other....with a nice cooking wood fire waiting when you return to camp.....

LOL.  You're right Stephan!

I guess we could "put up" with something like that.  If we "had to"......

You know, of course, that you and everyone else here are invited to join us in this venture.

The #72 in red wine is out, it looks beautiful guys. I think one of these would make a nice addition to the collection as well as the Elk. I really love this acorn shield with wine bone.

Yes, yes, yes!!!  They're finally here!!

Shipping begins today to a distributor near you!

I will soon have one, (or more), in my grubby little paws.......

Now I haven't seen the Elk version yet, but man 'oman, I can't wait. I'm thinking I'll need two versions of both knives. Really lookin' sleek.

That's pretty much what I'm figuring as well.

I like both the American Elk and the Red Wine Jigged Bone, and I find both the Clip blade and the Wharncliffe to be equally useful, although for different jobs.  Looks like a couple of each for sure.

That really is one fine looking knife!
