Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

There is a canyon about an hour from home that I like to hike along.  It is a seven or eight mile stretch of the North Platte river between two reservoirs and the scenery is spetacular.  In some spots the walls rise six or seven hundred feet above the water below.  I like to park at the east end and walk west for about a mile.  The ground rises steadily at about a fifteen degree slope for that mile and is a real work out for these not-so-young legs.

Wow, what a great picture Rusty. Hard to beat scenery like that!

Certainly well worth the walk Rusty, what an incredible view.  Being in the presence of all that natural beauty always makes me feel a little humble.

Rusty,

You should share this in the outdoor group

Thanks Steve & Jan.  I will have to look for the Outdoor group.
