Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Hi everyone and welcome to our newest members,

Something we have not talked about lately is new aquisitions.  Tell us about your latest and greatest GEC.  Donnie bought me both the new 23's in the Beavertail (Worlds greatest husband by the way)  He got himself the newest 73 in Primitive bone.  THAT is a heck of a nice knife.

What have you gotten lately?

SWEEEET 73 Chris!!!

Talk about nice stag, both of those are real gems, congrats.

Beautiful knives, love the pin. : )

Very nice #73's Chris! I can't wait to use one of those hat pins in each of  my new GEC hats!!!

Great stag, Chris!  Here's a pair of easy open Whalers in ebony and cocobolo that just arrived.

Wow, your ready to go.

Those are beautiful knives, I really like the selection of shield here, the cloud has always been a very attractive shield and the bar is beautiful as well. Love the long pull on the Northfield, but being a Pa guy, that Tidioute stamp does it for me. Congrats on those knives, they look great.

Rusty,

Very nice sir! I have yet to pick up any of the single blade EO Whalers. Do you have the two blade Whalers too? If so which do you like better?

I have both. The small blade on the two blade version seems a bit extraneous and makes for a bit of an uncomfortable grip. The single blade is far better but I could do without the ez open cutout, which also seems a bit unneeded with so much of the blade sitting above the scale.

Rusty and David,

Very nice indeed.  So do you carry and use them?  I am hoping at some point the single blade comes out in Primitive Bone.

I have been using the 2 blade for a while now, its really pretty handy.  Right now the single blade is in my pocket, as it has been since it arrived.  For a big knife it disappears quite nicely into the bottom of your pocket.

David, I really like the color on that Tidioute. You are right about no need for the EO cutout. Nice concept but not necessary. Also kind of breaks up the beautiful form of the handle.

David,

I really like that you are carrying and using those whalers.  Glad they are working out well for you.
