I'm looking for a moderately priced fillet knife with a 5-7 inch blade and moderately priced ($15-$35)   but will go higher if it is worth it.  American made would be great but not necessary.

Any advice?  Any thoughts on the Buck Silver Creek line or Rapala filet knives?  What about Bear & Son's fillet knives.

The best filet knife I have ever own is one made of carbon steel and is a MontanaAmericana. The man's name is Dean, I can't remember his last name. There is two sizes, a medium and a large size. I have the medium one because I mostly catch and clean pan fish. The one I have with maple handles cost $40.
