Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

ITS A KNIFE I BOUGHT IN 1989 WHEN I LIVED IN SOUTH AFRICA IT WAS A COMMEMORATIVE ISSUE FOR THE 100 YEARS OF SOUTH AFRICAN RUGBY 1889-1989. ITS BOKER AND IT LOOK LIKE THE HANDLE IS MADE OF TYPE OF STONE I MAY BE MISTAKEN. ANY INFO ON THIS KNIFE WOULD BE GREAT.

I've never seen one. Maybe someone slse around here has. Is that stone or Boker's smooth gray bone?

Rn Dumeah has a great Boker Book, maybe he has something on it

great looking knife....

Not sure but it is either stone like you mentioned, or gray bone. But its as hard as a rock when you tap it.

I can't say anything about this particular knife but I can say this, Boker has been in the business of making commemorative knives for many years, producing many collectables.  I have started a collection of the Great American Story series. We do have several good Boker Collectors active here so perhaps we will hear from them.

Thanks for all the input hopefully someone might have some info on it.
