Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I bought this knife at a knife store in Wall Drug.  The blade screws onto the handle for use and screws into the handle for storage.  If I remember right it only cost around $12 but it is a very sturdy knife.  With the blade screwed into the handle, I believe you could run over it with a Mack truck and not damage it.  The guy at the knife store told me that rock climbers use it clipped on a caribiner.  I realize of course that he could just have been saying that.  I bought the knife because it was unusual and caught my eye.

It appears to be a small key chain kubaton with the bonus of a double edged knife inside. It looks cool - I would have bought one, too.

Charles, I don't know exactly who made this but I would guess it falls into the category of outdoor or camping supplies and could well be something that can clip to a belt. I know Marbles made several screw on type containers for things like matches or led lights.

Looks to be a small "Night Watchman", by United.

I would've bought one too. Nice score. I am going to Big 5, to see if they have them.

Brad, a knife in that same configuration--double edged--would be illegal to carry in California. Let me know what you find at Big 5. If they carry a single edged version of this I would buy one also. Sometimes good things really do come in small packages!

I want one also!!!

LOL it's out of stock at SMKW, must have been very popular!

I like that one too

JJ, thank you multiple times.  You just identified my knife for me.  It is a United Cutlery Mini Night Watchman.  It is the first one you listed at Amazon.com.  The other four are Baby Night Watchman by United Cutlery.

I just checked United Cutlery's web site.  They don't list either the Mini or Baby Night Watchman any more.

The cylinder reminds me of the metal work the boys did in shop class....has to be sturdy...nice little knife !
