Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I know we are all into cutting things here but, do you ever just buy a knife cause it looks cool? If so, what kind was it? And what was it about the knife's looks you liked? Post pic if you can.

NICE! You are right those handles are killer. Please don't get me started on custom handles on toenails please. I've got a daughter with one more year of college and then 3 more kids right behind her :)
Got me another one just cause it looks cool and it's another Strider....like I needed another hole in my head.

Here it is- bought it from a fellow iKC member on the Knives for Sale or Trade too.

It is a Strider SNG GG Green G 10

I'm surprised you you didn't pick up a Ford Pocket Knife-Cobra for your car... unless you already have one. ;)

I think I bought at least 65% of my knives because I liked the looks, but that may be because I just love knives in general! recently I did by a knife that looked cool, but once I received it (I bought it on the net) the cool factor was still there, but it was too big for EDC. Bulky and not pleasant in the pocket of my jeans. Once open it has fantastic grip and works well. The knife is a Smith and Wesson Homeland security folder, production run.

Heck naw... that is cool though.
hey Jakub i can see why you bought the
S&W homeland for coolness factor
i'd love to get one
Yup. Every nice I ever buy has to look appealing to me at the very least for me to purchase it. It doesn't have to extravagantly cool, just nice design and blade shape and all that.
Cool pics guys. That Pheonix is neat.Yes i have bought many blades because i thought they looked cool.I don't have a pic but I just bought a knife with no name brand but unique blade design cuz it looked cool and was different.I will never use it,but I liked it enuff to get it.My Fantasy knife collection was based on what i thot looked sharp at the time. Now i have no need for a new blade.Easier said than done,im a collector!
I usually buy for function and looks, but mostly function. That SpyderCo  Phoenix sure looks like a winner though !
All the time. Most of what I have  bought because I liked the looks. Here was on of my recent buy for looks. Here was another one.

Definitely only bought this because of the interesting blade shape.

In a word, Yes.

Saying that the ones I have bought JUST for looks tend to stay on the shelf due to the fact that the ones I get just aint that well made. Maybe it's just my bad luck
