Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I was out running around today and saw an estate auction and followed the signs.  The Gentleman that had passed was a Red Wing Boot repairman, and had been since getting out of the service.  He had lots of tools most of which I didn't know what they where.  Laying in the top of one of his chests was this Camco USA knife model 450, very nasty and covered in shop dust.  The blades snap very hard and it doesn't look like it has ever been sharpened.  It had a $4 sticker on so I though heck why not.  Next to it was a nice heavy set of sissors, I have been needing some for my work bench, they had $1 on them so I checked out with 5 ones and came home.  The knife cleaned up nice the scales are very drawn up, notice the gap at each end.  The sissors turned out to be Boker Tree Brand model 55-8, made in Solingen Germany.  Guess it pays to stop!!
