I know that James and James Jr. at Treeman Knives, use a top quality Compass in making their knives. They are great people, and I know if you contact them, they would tell you where they buy them from. Just look them up on the Web. Treeman Knives. I hope this helps, let us know.

don't know if it's what your really looking for but there are some nice edc compasses at countycomm, some are really mini, bought a few thinking I'd imbed them in a hiking staff a while back, still haven't got around to that now i think about it :)
