From Design to your Door ~ The Queens' Gathering

When we are copying a knife from a custom maker I tear apart the knife starting by tracing outline of parts by hand on to paper and transferring them onto steel and cut them out with a band scroll saw leaving parts a little heavy to get down to exact size needed and finish them to desired size. We will then use these hard copy parts to send out to get lasered out at Tonnard MFG. Corp out of Corry, PA
This is the die set with box type box fixture we use for quick and easy insertion for our new Tommy blocks to be dropped in
We use a stationary router table with fixtures we make in house to accommodate each style here are some Fossilized Spalted Maple Burl handles before and after routing
These are our new Bolster blocks after they were knocked in. Still need cleaned and sent to Peters Heat Treat to be Annealed and heat treated to 58- 60 for RC
This small forge is how we heat our Bolster Die blocks up before dropping in
