No doubt you have seen this new group pop up here at iKnife Collector and its sure to be a big hit with all kinds of collectors.

Hosted by iKC's own Jan Carter it is a group devoted to all those "smaller brands". These brands are very popular with collectors but some of the names may not be familiar to everybody. The group has started and is currently holding discussion for the following brands of knives: Fox and Hound, Hen and Rooster and Bulldog.

Have a favorite knife brand you don't see anywhere among the groups on iKnife Collector? Join this group and post a discussion using the name brand of that knife as the discussion title and join start talking!

For those of you who have started a group and would like to combine with Box Full of Knives, please let me know.

Yep,  I think that Jan hit on a winner here.

I think so JJ, its a great opportunity for people to join in discussion on their favorite brand of knife without having to join lots of groups to support it.

There are lots of opportunities on this group. Who knows, maybe Frost branded knives will start appearing. I know people have them especially the Steel Warriors.

Absolutely, many brands are out there that people buy that may not be the biggest or best known. We now have a home for them too!

If you haven't looked at Box Full of Knives, you really need to!  This is a place where any brand goes!  The site has threads (Discussions) devoted to important knife brands and patterns and it also is a place to show off that interesting "knife with no name"  

In just the short time I've been at Box Full of Knives, I've learned that  No knife is too expensive, and no knife is just junk when it comes to this group.  I've also learned that I'm not the only one who has bought that knife simply because it looked cool.  Even more importantly, I've  decided that some brands I was a wary of may not be as bad as people have claimed.

I agree with Toby. Anything goes in a Box full of Knives. I like that people can showcase some of the things that may have gotten them into serious collecting. I am seeing a lot of things that I haven't seen before. I have heard about US Classic knives, but this is the first time I have seen any.
