Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Hey Guys, Christmas morning came and went and with it came a new bundle of knife joy. My brother's both gifted me some awesome knives, but the knife I want to talk about is the #15 Boy's knife.

This is my first experience with GEC in a couple months time and I have to say the folks in Titusville are making me prouder than ever to be a PA native. If you guys got the chance to pocket one of this knives then you already know what I am talking about.

This knife seems to step back in time with it's beautiful jigged bone and it's simplicity. The knife I received is a single bladed #15 and the spear point blade is perfection. The Swedge dresses this "Boy's knife" up and turns it into something special. Armed with a long pull this knife screams classic.

I can't wait to put some miles on this knife and get that patina started.

The knife came very sharp with perfect grinds. The walk and Talk is perfect and blade sits tightly in place, when opened and closed. The blade is just a tiny bit off center, but it doesn't contact the liner and it doesn't take anything away from the knife.

I don't have any pics right now, but I will get some up as soon as I get the chance to get some pics.

Things have been extremely busy and I have been AWOL as of late, but I'm trying to get back to it.

I couldn't agree more. I got the ebony single blade and the rusty red Jigged bone single blade; they came in the mail today. They are just about perfect . . . Absolutely cool little knives. I love the swedge and the nifty half-stop. they remind me of some customs that i have. i hope we see some more handle material in this pattern.

The Tidioute 152212 Huckleberry Boy's Knife with Rust Red Jigged Bone handle scales. A New American Classic!

That is one fantastic pic of what appears to be a great knife.  Hearing some really nice things about this pattern

Bob, thanks for sharing that with us.  I am thinking this pattern is a hit, right out of the tube

From my own experience and from what I've seen around the web, these knives have been a HUGE hit Jan. I haven't seen this much commotion about a new release in quite some time. In my opinion, this might be the best example of a Classic Pocket Knife yet made.Such clean lines! No Blade Etch,No Inlay Shield,it is just beautiful in it's simplicity!

Perfectly stated, Bob.

Here are a couple of pics. If I get that Nifebrite one, perhaps I will take a night picture . . . or not. :)
