Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This morning I sent out an email with the iKC rule about promoting your company.  I wanted you all to have a place to talk it through if you would like to.  I wanted to add one more thing.  Even our members that sponsor us do not advertise in the site other than their paid ads on the sides of the pages.  This is what keeps the lights on and they rely on me to keep their business names out there on many other internet access areas away from our site also.

If the membership has a different thought than what is in the rules, please, let's talk about it.  Remember, it is the membership that makes iKC great, I just drive the bus.

Mostly the members come here to look at, research and talk about knives with like minded.  So rather than do this 3 times a day to individuals, I thought I would just send a general reminder. If the membership has a different thought than what is in the rules, please, let's talk about it.  Remember, it is the membership that makes iKC great, I just drive the bus.

RULE #3

If you have a company event, then add it to the Community Event Calendar.

Any company or individual abusing this understanding will be warned first, and if the activity continues, will be banned. No questions asked.

We now allow for advertising within our pages.  When you purchase an ad, you are limited to the ad and the click through to your site.  Please do not discuss your items for sale openly within group forums or photos.  Take the discussion private. If you are interested in advertising please contact Jan Carter, we will see if we can accommodate your business needs. Please abide by the current policy we have in place.

If you have any questions about this policy, please ask.

All our rules can be found here

Seems like a very reasonable policy to me. And by the way, as far a bus drivers go - you're a pretty good one. Thank you.

Thanks Old Guy!  I think I drive this one good because I enjoy it so much :)
