Jan you are correct.  Our own Government is out of control and WE are the only ones who can set them straight.

I have never been afraid of a gun.  I have never been afraid to be out in public because there may be a fool with a gun, bomb...whatever.  For the first time in my life I am afraid of my own government and I am afraid of the apathy of the citizens in our great country.  Putting our heads in the sand and hoping someone else comes to our rescue is not the American way.  

Join, talk, become involved before we are telling our grandchildren about the freedoms we enjoyed in the good old days

I was just reading about the Sherrif's through out the country that have sworn to uphold the 2nd amendment.  More seem to be joining that list daily

That is a pretty good read.  I was wondering why the media hoop;a just dies out.  I figure they were just going to do it all under the table and just announce new laws to us

I kind of agree seemed like it was a slam dunk and pat answers and no matter what you say this is going this way but its pretty quiet. Almost too quiet, perhaps the calm before the storm?

Well here is the latest being considered in Missouri:

Here’s part of the Democratic proposal in Missouri:

4. Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution:
(1) Remove the assault weapon or large capacity magazine from the state of Missouri;
(2) Render the assault weapon permanently inoperable; or
(3) Surrender the assault weapon or large capacity magazine to the appropriate law enforcement agency for destruction, subject to specific agency regulations.
5. Unlawful manufacture, import, possession, purchase, sale, or transfer of an assault weapon or a large capacity magazine is a class C felony.

Are they taking this serious?  In Oklahoma they are close to issuing everyone an assault rifle.  LOL!  Come on and move your operation to Oklahoma.  Soon we will be Baja Texas...the northern State of the Republic of Texas.
