Single blade doctors knife. One side of the blade reads CASE XX, with U.S,A underneath. The ID marking on the back of the blade says 3185.

Double Bladed. First blade has Case, the C is curved beneath the ase and xx. The second blade has the numbers 3254 and CV underneath.

Neither knife has dots or x's in the backs of the blade like my newest one does. I just want basic info on year model, and possibly the price range. I don't wanna sell them, it would just be nice to know their value.

The 3254 CV , is a  Synthetic handle( 3 ), two blade ( 2 ),  Trapper( 54 ) pattern.

First number is for the type of handle material , the next number is for how many blades, the last set of numbers would be the pattern number. CV is the type of steel of the blades Chrome Vanadium.

The 3185, Synthetic handle ( 3 ), one blade ( 1 ), Doctors knife ( 85 ) pattern.

To be able to tell the years we have to be able to see the tang of the blade, if there is a series of dots or dots and x's that would tell us the date.

Hope this helps!

The info would be on the face of the tang, This might help with the dating, price I couldn't say.

Another good source of basic knowledge for Case knives may be found on their web site at the Case College page.

Harley, not sure about those knives, but I know they are priceless memories.
