Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Thanks to Gary Kennedy for answering my first post. It was very helpful in helping me to understand knife sets that may not have been an official issue by the Case Company.

I have a Grant & Lee, 1987/88 Civil War set. The generals are pictured inside the gift box facing each other on horseback. The knives are # b6149 (blue)  gr6149 (gray) single blades with the generals signatures. Is this an official set from Case and what is the value at n-mint to mint.

Thanks

James Green

Hi James There was 3000 of  Case Lee & Grant's Epic Struggle.  Manufacturer (Case) Made in 1987 . The single blade copperhead is a very collectable pattern. The copperhead  is a pattern that is discontinued . In a 1995 price guide it's value was $130.00 . I don't think it has gone up in the last 15 years. hope this helps .
