I recently bought a box of junk knives. One is a "Clover-brand, Syracuse, NY"' and it appears to be a very old knife. Does anyone know about this brand? It was not an expensive knife

Ted- Clover Brand, Syracuse, New York was a trademark used by A. Kastor & Brothers circa 1941--Most of the A. Kastor  & Bros.knives were imported from Germany by various makers.A. Kastor & Bros. also owned Camillus Cutlery Company.

Ted- I would love to see pics of this knife-- The 2nd box next to link right above where you post or answer a question allows you to upload pics--- If you have any questions, follow this link--http://iknifecollector.com/forum/topics/an-ikc-cheat-sheet then scroll down a little to the  Most Asked Question comment-
