Dating a Pocketknife

Please see the photo of this knife.  Markings on it are:

BROCH & KESSEL SOLINGEN GERMANY

MER ROSTFREI STAINLESS

R

I would like to know when the company BROCH &

KESSEL used that name, and when this pocketknife

may have been made.  Any help in dating the knife

would be sincerely appreciated.

Sublim-Gesellschaft ,Broch & Kessel. Solingen-Merscheid: Fürker Strasse 38 in 1939. Brand names: 'Mer', 'Sublim'.

SUBLIM GESELLSCHAFT BROCH & KESSEL SOLINGEN-MERSCHEID STRAIGHT ...  This link shows that the company did indeed use all these names.  They made razors, pocket knives and hunting knives
