Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

As much as I enjoy iKnifeCollector.com, I would REALLY enjoy meeting other people locally who share the same interest in knives, knife collecting and related topics.

I have looked high and low for local knife clubs, swap meets or get togethers, to no avail.  I've been on some of the local internet forums and raised the idea - didn't get any takers.

Are there any local knife clubs, swap meets, etc. in your area?  I know the "Gun and Knife shows" make the circuit and come thru my area, but that's really a commercial venture, and while I enjoy attending them sometimes, they don't really offer much in the way of conversation or camaraderie.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance for your input.

If this is not the right category for this discussion, hopefully one of the moderators can move it for me - with my apologies.

You posted in the right spot Jay. I live pretty remote so no help there, although there is a groupd tht meets in St. Louis, which is way north of me. Someday hope to make it over to Shepherd Hills Celebration. It is commercial but a spot folks and friends enjoy..

Hey, Jay. Look in to the Tarheel Cutlery Club.
http://www.tarheelcutleryclub.com/
They've had an annual show in Winston-Salem, in the past years, but I can't find any information for this years show.

Thanks for the heads up on the Tarheel club, J.J.!  It's about an hour and fifteen minute drive from my house, but if they have an active club it will be worth it, especially since the meetings are once a month.

If anyone else has any info on knife clubs, meetings, swap meets, etc. or ideas on how to find them, please chime in.
