So you all know I am shameless about borrowing from my dealer and fortunately he allows me to do so LOL.  The translation is from another of his customers and I know we all appreciate that!

GEC's 73L Gets Written Up in a Major German Knife Mag!

Not sure if I mentioned this before, but I thought it was pretty cool that there was an article about the Great Eastern 73L Linerlock published in Messer Magazin based in Germany.  The best way to describe the publication is that it's the German version of Blade Magazine.  Very high quality publication with lots of glossy photos, etc.

I've had the good fortune to do quite a bit of business overseas for several years and exchanged a few emails with the writer, Joachim Kuhn.  Joachim had purchased several knives (including the 735111LT Grizzly Cut reviewed in the article) from me and had asked a few background questions about GEC, so I was really surprised when he told me he was publishing the article.

Another customer in Germany, Andi, was extremely generous in that he not only sent me a copy of the magazine but he also took the time to translate the article and sent me a copy of the translation as well.

If you'd like to check out the Magazines website, go to www.messermagazin.de .  The April issue has articles about the GEC 73L, Schrade 163 Rope Cutter, Bark River Canadian Special and some incredibly gorgeous custom knives from Europe.

What can I tell you other than "knife" people are great people to know all over the world!!!
