Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

My brother, who lives in Little Rock swears by these knives !! From what I can find out they are a family owned 20 year old company making USA made knives-I have also read that everything from blanks onward is US manufacture- A true McCoy knife has a made in Mt. Ida, Arkansas tang stamp- They have some with a McCoy shield but do not disguise the fact that  it is a Colonial blade on the tang- I have heard rumblings that Bear may have made some of the blades (not proven) or that some of the McCoys are totally in house-All of their retailers are Arkansas based and I have read that they only sell seconds or vintage knives through their website-http://mccoyknifecompany.com/ so as not to hurt their retailers.Apparently they are big in the sharpening stone market, and their site also sells vintage Case, Buck, etc. From what I can see, their knives are hi quality at a reasonable price-Any info would be appreciated- Are we overlooking a quality knife company ?? Here is one pic from their website-
