Lord, we ask today that you bring your awesome power to Terry and heal this illness. Also allow peace to the family and let them feel your embrace as they face this illness of their loved one.

I am not much of a prayer. But here are some words that are coming from my heart:

Be strong for her. Do not let her see your cry. Let her see your smile and kindness in your eyes.

If you need to pray - pray for her, but do not let her see that. If she wants - pray with her but do not shed a tear.

Let her time here be as nice as you can and let her know that you love her so much.

Sorry, do not have enough vocabulary to express my feelings. Just be strong and love her.

Our church does something kind of cool, when the collection plate goes around we can also drop in prayer requests. Then Pastor Ken reads the prayer requests so we can all join in prayer together. I will put in a prayer request for Cherry's sister. It never hurts to have more hearts and voices in prayer.

Had a chance to hear from Terry. The prayers are helping and there are some small signs of improvement. Continue praying and say another one for all our friends and family that are in this cold.
