Maybe Schrade no tang stamp question would have been more appropriate.

I'm considering a knife on ebay. My problem is that the description doesn't mention the maker of the knife and no tang stamp is visible in the pic.  I asked the seller about the maker and the tang.

He said it is a Schrade with no tang stamp.

 All the domestic, imports, and special order knives I've seen by Schrade  have had some sort of tang stamp.

Did Schrade ever make knives with no tang stamp??
