The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I recently joined this forum. I have taken over my dad's collection. These 3 photos are just a bit of his collection.

How did you do that? I thought I was doing it correctly....
Also, anyone here know what that stone blade knife is? I am going to visit my dad this week, so I will ask him. He has paperwork for some of these knives, but certainly not all...

I am still learning how to use this Forum's system
No worries, Derek! Takes a bit of time to get used to things. You can always jump into the ChatRoom and ask anyone for a hand. Lots of great, helpful folks in there that would be happy to help out!
Thanks Steve, I can tell this is good forum with some good, helpful people. I joined another knife forum at the same time when I was trying to learn & research. I didn't get 1 "Welcome" until I mentioned that I didn't get a welcome... I received 3 in about 20 minutes on this forum....So, this is my knife forum.
I looked at a bunch. When I was trying to sign-up for one of them, I was not able to because I have a Verizon email.... I thought that was pretty odd.

We're glad you like it, Derek! We pride ourselves on "People first" here. Other sites have their draws, but what kept me here was the people and community. I did the same as you...tried a few places, joined them at about the same time, but nothing compared to iKnife when it came down to friendliness, helpfulness, and getting a sense of actually being welcome! I really hope you continue to enjoy being with us and being a member of our community. The more you get involved is the more you'll get from the site. I love the fact that even the most novice collector can feel right at home here! We were all "new" at some point, and it's great to see our members helping others learn more about this great hobby.
Looks like a very nice collection.
simply agree...
