Not sure what to say about this one. It is small, about two inches closed. The unusual feature is the hook.

After much consideration and research, I am of the opinion that the hook on this knife is a button hook.  In long bygone days, lots of items had buttons, and a button hook was often used to close them.  Note the difference in shape of the hook as compared to the "gut hook" on a game knife.

Here are a couple of pics of bird knives.  One is more of a traditional design, showing a rather slim handle.

The other (beretta) is more robust, but has a hook more similar to yours.

That looks similar to a bird knife.  The hook has a bit more curvature than the ones I am used to seeing though.
