Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Ever wonder when you’re writing that forum or loading in a picture why the category at the bottom says TAGS?

When you search for a knife on the internet, you enter a keyword right?  That key word reads TAGS and gives you the results of your search.  Now, that is an extremely simplified version of what happens but it is the result none the less.

The same happens when someone searches on iKC, so it helps folks here find your photos and see your knives.

So TAG!  Help us be seen, help the friends we have not met yet find us.

I practice regular tagging on each post, just for you Jan

good tags like knife company names, patterns, handle materials etc.....work well to get us on the GOOGLE list too! so we go global !

Thanks Tim and Ms Sue you are oh so right!!!

I like to bring this up every once in a while.  Some of you may not realize how import this is for us.  I actually go through pics every week and add tags.  I would rather just have the time to go through pics and see them LOL

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
